About

British author and composer H.E. Wilburson (or H.E. as he likes to be called) is totally surprised to be receiving recognition for The Martian Diaries – his 3-part continuation of The War Of The Worlds. The classic H.G. Wells novel has fascinated him for years, and led him to create his series, initially as audiobooks featuring his own music and sound effects, then later in print and ebooks. The series has been recognised by several accolades, including five awards in the 2020 Los Angeles Science Fiction Film Festival (Audio Drama category) a Bronze medal in the Readers Favorite International Awards 2024, and a category finalist in the Eric Hoffer Book Awards 2025. Apart from The Martian Diaries, H.E. has adapted The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan, his first project combining text with music, which he hopes to release in the future. He also has several hundred pieces of music, and unpublished stories and poetry. There are two further H.G. Wells sequels in the pipeline. He enjoys history, advances in science and listening to great music and story-telling. When he's not composing music, his favourite hobbies include hiking, (especially in Wales), chilling in the garden, and creating new story ideas for sequels to H.G. Wells novels.
